Mobley was born and raised in Houston, Texas. After
attending Milby High School in Houston, he moved to Owensboro,
Ky. in 1966 and graduated from Owensboro High School in 1967.
He attended Baylor University in Waco, Tx. And then transferred
to the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Ky. where he received
his bachelor’s degree in 1971. After graduating from
medical school at the University of Louisville in 1975, he
completed his residency in Internal medicine at the Louisville
Affiliated Hospitals in 1978. He then finished a Cardiology
fellowship in 1980, which included eleven months of intensive
training in the cardiac catheterization laboratory.
In September of 1980 Dr.
Mobley returned to the Houston area establishing a
private practice in cardiology here in Conroe. In 1985 when
Conroe Medical Center opened its first cardiac cath lab, he
spent a month at St. Luke’s Hospital, fine-tuning his
skills in cardiac catheterization.
Today the original practice established in
1980 is still thriving. He prides himself on establishing
an office that is sensitive to the patient’s need and
easy to communicate with. He urges his staff to not only make
sure he sees his patients in a timely fashion, but to assure
that there is time in his schedule to work in necessary and
urgent problems each day.
Mobley specializes in diagnosing and treating
coronary atherosclerotic heart disease. In addition
to performing heart catheterization, he also does coronary
angioplasty and coronary stent placement.
